Veterans Helping Vets
A small group of our Foothills Detachment attended a large charity event to raise money for Severely wounded Marine LCpl Kade Hinkhouse this last Saturday evening. Steak Dinner hosted by the Veterans Helping Vets organization in Colorado, over 200+ people where served up a fine Steak and potato dinner with 100% of all proceeds going to funds to help build LCpl Kade Hinkhouse a new home. Dinner was wonderful and we presented Kade's wife Becky with the very first set of new Marine Corps Earrings we designed and handcrafted as a gift:

April 30, May 1st and 2nd - that same small group of Marines from our Foothills Detachment will be traveling out to Elizabeth to help build this wounded Marine a new home. We of course would hope that if anyone else is not going to attend the 2010 Department of Colorado Convention - that they would come on out and join us in building a new home for LCpl Kade Hinkhouse. Please go to the link above for information and reading more about Kade, a Colorado Marine!
