Many of you have heard about the new Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers recently passed into law. VA will start accepting applications for the program on Monday, May 9th.
In addition to many services already in place for Caregivers of Veterans, the new program allows for a stipend to be paid to eligible caregivers. Attached is a fact sheet regarding the application process for the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers, and a fact sheet regarding Caregiver Services for Veterans of all eras.
